3. Reservations

3.1 Booking

Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred dates and vehicle, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

3.2 Cancellations

Cancellation policies vary by rental type. Please review the specific cancellation terms provided at the time of booking. Early cancellation fees may apply.

4. Driver Requirements

To rent a vehicle from STR Car Rentals, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age (25 for certain vehicles)
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Have valid automobile insurance
• Provide a valid credit card in your name
• Meet all additional requirements for specific vehicles

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards and debit cards. A security deposit will be held on your card for the duration of the rental.

5.2 Additional Charges

You may be responsible for additional charges including but not limited to: fuel, tolls, traffic violations, late returns, cleaning fees, and damage costs.

6. Vehicle Use

You agree to:

• Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws
• Not allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle
• Not use the vehicle for racing or off-road driving
• Not smoke in the vehicle
• Return the vehicle in the same condition as received

7. Insurance and Liability

You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle during your rental period. We offer optional insurance coverage at the time of rental. Your personal auto insurance may also provide coverage. You are responsible for understanding your coverage options.

8. Limitation of Liability

STR Car Rentals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the rental in question.

9. SMS Messaging Services

9.1 Third Parties that Help Provide the Messaging Service

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS short code campaign with a third party for purposes unrelated to supporting you in connection with that campaign. We may share your Personal Data with third parties that help us provide the messaging service, including, but not limited to, platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

9.2 Additional Disclosures

Affiliates: We may disclose the Personal Data to our affiliates or subsidiaries; however, if we do so, their use and disclosure of your Personal Data will be subject to this Policy.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
